The Fluval FX2/FX4/FX5/FX6 Phosphate Remover Pads have been designed specifically for use with the the Fluval FX high performance canister filter series. These phosphate removing resin infused pads perform double duty as both an effective mechanical and chemical media. Suitable for use in both fresh and salt water set-ups, the pads absorb excess phosphate from the aquarium to effectively help control algae and green water.
DIRECTIONS:
Remove protective plastic bag and thoroughly rinse pad before use. Install pad at last filtration stage. For best results, replace monthly or as required after testing water with a suitable aquarium water testing kit. To maintain beneficial bacteria, do not replace all filtration media at the same time. Test phosphate levels regularly to ensure optimal water quality.
